Dem Congressman Compares Obamacare Implementation To The Constitution
Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that Obamacare is like the Constitution because "people didn't understand" either when it was first introduced.
MEEKS: When Social Security first came out, people didn't understand that completely. And when Medicaid, people didn't understand that completely, but over time we got it right. You know, the fact of the matter is, when the Constitution came out, people didn't understand that. And there were problems in the Constitution, [but] we didn't say get rid of the Constitution, we fixed it.
