Rep. Lynn Jenkins Gives GOP Weekly Address On Student Loan Rates
GOP: In this week's address, House Republican Conference Vice Chair Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) wishes all a Happy Independence Day.
It's been almost a week since Senate Democrats and President Obama let some federal student loan interest rates double. House Republicans passed a long-term fix to these rates, only to have Washington Democrats delay and make students suffer the consequences. It's not fair to make American students pay more because of inaction in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
