Ezra Klein: Today, Democrats Lost On The Sequester
EZRA KLEIN: This was the day, and I just think it should be said clearly, the Democrats lost the sequester. That it became permanent. If they're just going to go through this, and every time a politically powerful constituency is hurt, they will go through and singularly take that constituency out of play. This will never go away. And at that point, they should just accept the Toomey Bill to have full discretion across the whole sequester. At least then you can have discretion across the whole thing and make it a little bit better.
